Two ventures from the BK-Launch community have been named Change 100 Winners by We Make Change. Féro and Leafy have both been recognised as Top Impact Startups to Watch in 2026, selected from hundreds of ventures worldwide. The Change 100 initiative celebrates and accelerates innovative sustainability and social impact startups shaping the future.
Féro
Founded by Daniel Halman, Féro is developing an integrated model for regenerative agriculture in Senegal. Their approach combines mid-tech bamboo greenhouses with biodiverse agroforestry systems, designed to make land restoration economically viable for smallholder farmers whose land has been degraded by decades of monoculture farming. With their first prototype greenhouse currently being completed near Dakar, Féro is steadily moving from concept to reality.
Leafy
Co-founded by Boyan and Naud, Leafy creates green facade panels that go beyond aesthetics. Their panels integrate vegetation, birdhouses, and habitats for local wildlife, while also helping to cool buildings and reduce urban heat. Made from bamboo composite and filled with custom substrate mixes, the panels are designed for both biodiversity and functionality. With three major test projects launching across the Netherlands in the coming months, in Delft, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, Leafy is well on its way to bringing a market-ready product to life.
Congratulations to both teams. We are proud to have Féro and Leafy in the BK-Launch community and look forward to following what comes next.
