Recap: How Do I Start My Own Design Firm? Workshop Series
November brought another inspiring edition of our annual workshop series, How Do I Start My Own Design Firm? We welcomed over 70 passionate students, all eager to explore the possibilities of launching their own design ventures.
Alijd guided the group through three engaging sessions, starting with a deep dive into finding their ikigai; that unique intersection of passion, purpose, and impact. The energy in the room was amazing as students uncovered their individual strengths and shared their ideas with eachother.
The second session brought real-world perspectives to life with a lively panel discussion. We’re so grateful to our panelists for sharing their experiences and wisdom, sparking meaningful conversations and new ideas. Thanks Antonio Paoletti, Willem Stevense, Anna Torres, Stephan Verkuijlen en Eva ten Velden for joining the panel!
The series wrapped up with an open talk, where students shared their challenges and questions, leaving with fresh insights and renewed motivation.
