Maxairea Accelerates Market Validation of Energy-Saving CO₂ Filtration Technology

← Back to News

Maxairea has reached a key milestone in the validation of its innovative indoor air-quality and energy-saving technology. After an extensive preparation phase, the company has officially started installation and testing at The Green Village, where its solution is being independently validated in collaboration with TNO. The focus is on generating high-quality, third-party data to support certifications including the RVO Energy Saving Hardware List, WELL, and BREEAM.

The Green Village project brings together leading industry partners such as Orange Climate, Priva, and installation partner Van Dorp, enabling real-world testing of Maxairea’s technology under operational conditions.

In parallel, Maxairea is running multiple pilot projects across the Netherlands with partners including SPIE, Van Haren, Theo Boons, UNICA, and Megens, as well as several architectural and real estate development firms. The company’s “Living Lab” standalone unit is proving to be an effective demonstration tool, allowing building owners and decision-makers to directly experience performance improvements in meeting rooms and offices before committing to large-scale HVAC investments.

Maxairea is also strengthening its position within the Dutch innovation ecosystem through the YES!Delft accelerator and will participate in the Q2 entrepreneurship course as a partner company for student research. With a growing pipeline of pilots and the first commercial systems now being installed, Maxairea is building strong momentum toward market adoption of its Clever Air Care CO₂-filtration technology, enabling healthier indoor environments with lower energy use.
