The kick-off marked the official start of the BK-Launch Mentor Programme 2026, bringing together 18 aspiring entrepreneurs and PhD researchers with 10 experienced mentors from both industry and academia.
The BK-Launch Mentor Programme connects early-stage entrepreneurs with mentors who can offer practical guidance, a critical sounding board, or specific expertise. Mentors come from partner organisations in the Built Environment as well as from TU Delft, offering both hands-on industry experience and academic perspective.
The programme is open to students with a business plan they want to take seriously, PhD researchers exploring how their work could translate into a viable venture, and founders who are ready to take their next steps. Following the kick-off, participants and mentors shape the mentorship to fit their individual needs, supported by a series of plenary sessions facilitated by BK-Launch throughout the year.
