Douwe van den Wall Bake

TBI

TBI is a collective of 20+ companies in engineering, construction & development and infrastructure, making it one of the largest concerns in this field in the Netherlands. With over 6,550 employees, they work every day on the bridges and (water) roads, buildings and installations, energy concepts, ships, homes and cities and installations of the future. Projects that make a positive difference.

Every year they design, develop and realize hundreds of projects - from small to large. From an energy 0 tunnel in Rotterdam to a new piece of city on top of The Hague Central Station. From wood building icons like SAWA and HAUT to affordable owner-occupied housing for starters and people moving on. New modular high-voltage substations for energy transition and artisanal masterpieces like the renovation of the Dom Tower in Utrecht.

As one of the largest ‘steward owned’ companies in the Netherlands, there is a lot of focus on the long term. For sustainability and innovation. To accelerate this transition and achieve the Paris climate goals, the TBI Climate train was established. A fund and a community to realize radical innovations together. Partly for this reason, TBI is a partner of BK-launch.
