FOCUS POINTS AND CRITERIA: Innovativeness, recently started business entity, societal impact, feasibility argumentation, proposal quality and conciseness.
This category aims at individuals or teams with a great, out-of-the-box, feasible proposal that is ready to launch. In the application process, they will have to provide sufficient information to substantiate the expected feasibility of their proposal, giving reasoning and arguments indicating why and how the proposal can be successful and arguing the innovativeness and societal impact of the proposal itself. The term 'At-Launch' indicates that the venture doesn't need to have earned any revenues yet or received any subsidies/grants or other forms of income. Thus, the award is dedicated to being one of the first source of funding or income for early-stage ventures. Nevertheless, they must have already taken concrete and tangible steps in developing their project/idea. At the same time, their proposal should be passed the concept stage and in development towards launch.
FOCUS POINTS AND CRITERIA: Existing proof of concept, existing business entity, innovativeness, societal impact, feasibility argumentation, proposal quality and conciseness.
The Post-Launch category is tailored for existing business entities that are ready to scale up or have already earned some revenue. These entities should have a developed and functioning business model and potentially have already served some clients. The teams and/or individuals applying for this category must provide sufficient information and argumentation, indicating how they intend to scale up and proving/arguing the feasibility of their current enterprise. The term 'Post-Launch' indicates that the venture has already earned some revenues and received any subsidies/grants or other forms of income. Thus, the award is dedicated to early-stage ventures that are 'Post-Launch' and looking to start scaling their product.
FOCUS POINTS AND CRITERIA: Innovative, sustainable impact, prototype for the built environment within one of the following themes: Sustainable building and renovation, Future energy system or Climate adaptive city.
This category aims at individuals, start-ups and scale-up businesses that are looking for a place to build and test their sustainable prototype. Field lab The Green Village is a real-life test environment for sustainable innovation on TU Delft Campus. This field lab is exempted of rules and regulations and has inhabitants that provide user feedback. The winner of this award will receive €5.000 for materials, a test location as well as free guidance, publicity and visibility from the experienced The Green Village team including utilizing their broad network.
